Electro/Mechanical Technician (12 Month Contract)

Veoneer Safety Systems, Inc. is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as an Electro/Mechanical Technician.
What you’ll do
· Preventative Maintenance, repair and implementation of work orders on diverse production equipment
· Troubleshooting electrical and pneumatic control circuit
· Troubleshooting mechanical failures
· Troubleshooting robotic and servo systems
· Heavy emphasis on machine electrical assistance
· Manage activities and track results using Leading 2 Lean
What you’ll bring
· 3 year Electro/Mechanical Technologist Diploma
· Working knowledge and experience in pneumatics
· Working knowledge of PLC controls
· SMT experience required
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
· Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
We run a three shift operation. This role will likely be on the midnight shift from 11:00pm to 7:00am, however candidates must be available to work on any shift. This is a unionized position and the hourly rate is $39.87.
